Forty years at sea

Marking founder Francesco Guida's 40th professional anniversary, Santasevera reflects on its identity and the vision guiding its future.

Santasevera celebrates a milestone: forty years of founder and naval engineer Francesco Guida's career in the international yachting industry. Four decades dedicated to the design and development of motor yachts, which today form the cultural foundation of the brand's design philosophy.

Guida's connection with the sea began early, through sailing and time spent in shipyards — experiences that shaped a lasting conviction: every project must start from a direct understanding of how a boat is actually used.

"Anyone designing a boat needs to know the sea firsthand. A boat is not simply an object of design; it is a space that has to respond naturally to the way it is used," says Guida.

Over forty years, yachting has changed profoundly — shorter, more dynamic experiences, growing attention to outdoor areas and new layouts. Santasevera reflects this evolution through an essential design language, where consistency, proportion and the onboard experience guide every decision. Boats conceived to be essential, functional and elegant — and to retain their value over time rather than follow changing trends.

The range currently consists of two models, a 42 and a 52-footer, and is set to expand. "The next model we will introduce is a 64-footer, which is already under construction. Our intention is to continue growing while preserving the same design language across every model in the range," Guida concludes.

Santasevera will exhibit at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, from 8 to 13 September, presenting its current range to visitors and industry professionals.
